MONTHLY - April 2007

America watch out, here I am ..... MARAJJ

He is and always was an amazing colt from the very first day, and attracted a lot of attention when he was sold as yearling for a unique price. Everybody was talking about this really special colt born in 2004! MARAJJ may have increased the focus on the Albidayer Stud in Sharjah than any other horse has done in such a short period of time. Even before his first show debut, and even before he had proved himself in Scottsdale with his first win, MARAJJ was the horse everybody was talking about.

Sold by Brookville Arabians in the United States, he was purchased by Sheikh Mohammed Saud Al Qasimi from Albidayer Stud in Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. MARAJJ left the U.S. at the end of 2005 and came to the Middle East and thereafter to Europe to win many titles, amongst them Ajman Champion Colt, Qatar Champion Colt and his last major success, the title as World Reserve Champion Colt 2006. He achieved regularly the highest marks for type, head and neck, and his well balanced overall quality and appearance made him always in top level. MARAJJ is definetely a stamp combination of the best of both parents. He is an excellent and a classical, and maybe THE most important representative for his famous sire, the young and most prominent Marwan Al Shaqab.

MARAJJ recently arrived back in the U.S. to Brookville Arabians, where he will fulfill some breeding obligations. But also very importantly, it is intended that he competes at the very first Las Vegas show, followed by some more major shows throughout America, and shown by his usual handler, Scott Allman. And for sure, MARAJJ will be one of the top contenders in Vegas mid of April!

For more about this exquisite young stallion see in our "Portraits" section and "Walk of Fame", as well as watch his clip in "Videos".
