Even in her first appearance, the exquisite filly Bess-FA'IZAH made a big impression to all. Shown in 2005 for a first time at a major show by the young and talented Belgian, Philippe Loyens, she succeeded straight away to achieve the title as Champion Filly reserve at the International Menton show. Everybody was excited by this yearling filly, of her type, expression, wonderful upright pose and elegance, and altough she was still nervous she was still powerful and smooth along the line. Two months later, Bess-FA'IZAH collected her next bigger title, this at the ECAHO 'A' rated 'Elran Cup' show in Borgloon, Belgium. HH Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, United Arab Emirates, had already heard about her after Menton, and now he did not hesitate longer and aquired her straight away after Borgloon for his Ajman Stud. From this moment on, she moved onwards in her achievements for him and the United Arab Emirates, winning in 2005/2006 many big championships, including the All Nations Cup Aachen and the World Championships in Paris.
Bess-FA'IZAH is a daughter of the newcomer as sire, WH JUSTICE, a most elegant stallion in type and the front end, with a wonderful set-up swan neck, that one may find again in several of his foals and produce. The breeder of Bess-FA'IZAH is Bessewacht Arabians in Holland, who sold this filly to the Bourrasse family in France who showed this filly and who sold her finally to Sheikh Ammar in August 2005.
The dam of the filly is the mare SHARON EL KENDAL, whose pedigree shows some quite interesting things. Her dam comes from a close breeding with two full sibblings - her paternal grandfather TAMAREK is a full brother to her dam ASS FIALKA. Both are by the most successful combination of the Russian bred ASWAN son PLAKAT to the IRIDOS daughter BARWNA - a combination that produced several World Champions. This tradition of success was continued by Bess-FA'IZAH even in their later footsteps. In the fifth generation of Bess-FA'IZAH's pedigree you will discover two other closely related stallions, both with the cross and sibling of the straight Egyptian SHAKER EKL MASRI to the Spanish ESTOPA. One is the famous EL SHAKLAN (WH Justice's maternal grandsire), and on dam's side, IBN ESTASHA, a son by the famous straight Egyptian MALIK (Hadban Enzahi x Malikah) out of the El Shaklan's fullsister, ESTASHA. By making yourself aware of the value of these horses in the past generations might help explain a part of Bess-FA'IZAH's miracles. She indeed, represents her ancestors in all moments and qualities.
After two years of international show career, Bess-FA'IZAH is now at home in Ajman. At the Ajman show in January 2007 she was presented to the audience as the brand new World Champion Filly and pride of Sheikh Ammar, during a very special night scene with colourful spotlights, glitter and led in traditional dress (see the Ajman 2007 show coverage in "Shows", and our "Monthly" of January 2007). Bess-FA'IZAH enjoys her time without any show work, only presented to the visitors of Ajman Stud in her natural beauty, in the paddock when prancing and trotting around with tail and head up, and enjoying herself to show off in liberty. |
