Many people dream of glory, success and fame, and it is certainly a common human trait to do so. Everybody wants to be seen as individual, and success, glory and fame helps them to be in a special spotlight and to stand out from the crowd.
The show biz is definite pre-destined for those dreams and intentions, and leading on from this the horses help to realize a human's dream. So we can say: the name of this young stallion pictured in the April Monthly is a synonym for many people in this world - and his name is indeed a 'nomen est omen': Dream of Glory!
ASH Dream of Glory was born in 2006, bred and owned by 'Arabian Sun Horses' in Belgium, and he is a son of the well known sire WH Justice. His dam is the Ekstern daughter Donna Diva, who traces back to the foundation mare of 'Arabian Sun Horses', N.A. Divina. Read more about this mare and her influence in our "Portraits" section).
ASH Dream of Glory combines the best of both parents' lines - the type of his father, and the outstanding movement which comes from his tail female line.
For the last three years he has been shown successfully in juniors achieving several top placings in national, international, A-rated and in Title shows throughout Europe. He was also the 2007 Champion Colt at the "Rector's Arabian Trophy" in Belgium.
Last year, ASH Dream of Glory was bred to a few selected mares and the breeder and owner, Ingrid Bentchikou, is curious to see the results and the first foals of her young stallion, especially as the foals will be born from different lines and from outside mares.
