The Arab Horse is versatile

Nowadays we mainly focus on the shows and look to the beauty of the Arab horses only. But the Arab horse offers much more than just a dish in the face. And even more than just the (genuine, natural) human related disposition and kind character as we know from all the history and the daily experiences. By nature, the Arab horse is not aggressive or mean, except when in extreme fear, when trapped in a corner without a chance of escape or when deeply scared or badly treated, then we might find some bad behavior or habits. Normally, the Arab horse is a partner and friend. And it's versatility is even more rich - convenient for just pleasure, a hobby or a countryside ride, a performer for endurance and stamina ride, for flat racing, jumping, dressage, western, and driving - all in it's specific level.

To train and educate an Arab horse, and to get it's trust to even do things that by nature it would not do by itself, the Bedouins and warriors in the old days knew. And even their own lives might have depended on this. Today, we fortunately don't have those wars and fights anymore, but in the old days it was most important that the riders and warriors could rely on their horse as a partner to count on - to be able to survive! Today we see sometimes special presentations and displays relating to those old days, from equine people with a passion for history or actors or horse artists who studied, train, exercise and finally present 'the history' and make us seeing what the horses can do and did in the old, historical time. Like a group of enthusiasts in Jordan where this 'monthly' pictures were photographed. The Arab horse is not only a "beauty toy"!
The above picture was photographed in Jordan and with a group of people and horsemen who train and demonstrate this old, historical riding in their impressing displays.
